MSC CRUISES became the first cruise ship to return to sailing out of the UK on May 20 after a 14-month hiatus. Not only was the Virtuosa ship's inaugural sailing out of Southampton one filled with "emotion", according to Antonio Paradiso, managing director of MSC Cruises, it is also a positive sign for the future of "the wider travel industry".
