CLUTCHING my cowboy hat tight to my head as 16 horses thunder past at close to 40mph, I let out an involuntary "yahoo!" to the night's sky. I am front row at the Calgary Stampede, a 10-day festival held in early July in Alberta, Canada, which attracts more than one million visitors every year.
