Thomas Cook: Outrage from Britons as government steps in to save German arm of airline

THOMAS COOK staff and holidaymakers have been left outraged after it was revealed the Frankfurt-based arm of the airline was to be saved by the German government. Following the collapse of the the 178-year-old travel agent a total of 9,000 UK employees were left at a loss.
