THE BUNTING was up and the maple leaf flags already flying when we touched down in Ottawa for its annual Canada Day celebrations. The capital city hosts the country's biggest dawn-to-dusk party saluting national pride and soon the streets and parks would be awash with revellers dressed in its signature red and white.
