Italy islands ban single-use plastic being used - with tourists facing huge fines

ITALIAN islands are banning all use of single-use plastic including crockery and cutlery in a bid to protect the islands after an alarming amount of plastic particles in the sea were found. Those flouting the rules face huge fines.
