Pound to euro exchange rate: ECB interest rate sees sterling hit highest figures this week

THE POUND has managed to reach the highest level this week against the euro thanks to the European Central Bank leaving interest rates unchanged. This has helped the UK exchange rate exceed £1.150 for the first time this week.
