Pound to euro exchange rate: Sterling to ‘extend GAINS’ with positive UK employment figure

POUND rose against the euro this morning, despite the rising inflation rate – and may prove strong still if forecast of positive UK employment data proves true. The currency rose 0.3 per cent against the euro, and today’s events will show whether it can gain again following last week’s six-month high.
