'Party In A Pod' Takes Vegas Extremes To, Well, The Extreme

File this under things you might-probably-never will spend money on.

That's right, the world's tallest observation wheel is now home to the world's silliest way to spend a grand.

This is Party in a Pod, a new event at the High Roller -- aka the really huge wheel -- in Las Vegas. Just invite 39 of your closest friends and voila, you've got yourself an over-the-top Vegas experience.

To "Party in a Pod," you'll book ahead for a private, 30-minute ride on the wheel in a pod with just you and your friends.

According to a High Roller spokesperson, you can choose from two party types: The cheaper package, for $1,350, includes space for 40 guests and the option to blast your own playlist in the pod. A pricier package, for 25 guests, adds on open bar service from a private, in-pod bartender at $1,900.

Beware the added head rush from this thing's INSANE altitude.

"It is the best view in Vegas," a spokesperson for the High Roller told HuffPost Travel via email. "Plus it is moving, so there is always something new to look at."

The High Roller's all-glass pods feature 300-square-feet of floor space with screens for what the wheel calls "dynamic video and music shows."

To book your pod party, call or email the High Roller to chat about a "cabin buyout." And if you love the pods enough, you can even get married in one.

What happens in Vegas...
