The 10 Best Party Beaches On Earth

By the Editors of Condé Nast Traveler

These are the world's best beaches to eat, drink and play, as chosen by Condé Nast Traveler readers.

10. Super Paradise Beach, Mykonos, Greece

If the name alone isn't enough of a hook, Super Paradise Beach on the island's southwestern coast is the hub for eating, drinking and all-round revelry. Set on a wide bay, it's a crescent of sand studded with sun beds and backed by restaurants, bars and clubs--which are as much of a draw as the beach itself. It's no surprise that the entire beach turns into one massive party after sunset (it even has its own website).

9. Seven Mile Beach, Negril, Jamaica

The longest beach in Jamaica is also the island's liveliest: it's lined with resorts, restaurants and bars. Like that wasn't enough activity, it's also busy with vendors hawking everything a lazy beachcomber could want, including cold drinks and frozen fruit. You won't find tranquility here; for that, head to the Blue Lagoon instead.

8. Kuta Beach, Bali, Indonesia

Kuta is as famous for its nightlife as it is for its excellent surf; it's perpetually crowded with partygoers no matter what time of day. Its main drag, just steps from the beach, is home to many excellent restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels (like the Sheraton Bali Kuta). We suggest you skip the touristy eats and head to Ajeg Warung: It's a tiny stall on the south end of the beach that serves up the best homemade local food in Kuta.

7. Waikiki, Oahu, HI

Admittedly, there are much prettier beaches on the island of Oahu, but if you're looking for good eats, cocktails and parties, it's Waikiki all the way. Kuhio Avenue is great for cheap eats (think spam musubi) and the Halekulani Hotel is home to one of the best bars in all of Hawaii, House Without a Key. (Check out our full guide to Honolulu eats here). As for parties? Just walk down Kalakaua post-sunset and you're bound to find some trouble to get into.

6. Patong Beach, Phuket, Thailand

Patong Beach is among the most famous beaches in Phuket, and while you won't get a glimpse of off-the-beaten-path Thailand here, it's still a lot of fun. Steps from the beach, you'll find neon lights and literally hundreds of restaurants, bars and discos studded along the chaotic, half-mile strip that is Soi Bangla. We suggest staying closer to quieter Kamala Beach (the Andara Resort is lovely) and driving down to Patong to eat, shop and play.
